I saw this jacket on a British murder/mystery show and loved the look, so I went on the hunt to get it and this coat definitely gets attention and compliments wearing it on dreary weather days. Even if you got zero compliments when wearing it, the vibrant color just makes you smile when you put it on. It checks off all the boxes, light weight, water proof and has the durability that you would expect from a rain trench. Looks great and fits well. It's lighter than I expected - meaning I would not wear it in the middle of winter. It's basically two layers, but none of them are warm per se. This is nice for a brisk fall day. Wear sweaters if you want to be warmer. This is a great coat that is easy to pack and travel with. I just came back from a 2 month trip that started at the end of August and went through mid October. The last portion of my trip was in the UK so I unfortunately needed to pack a coat that wouldn't take up too much space, but would be warm enough for fall in the UK.
This coat folds up very easily so you can really squeeze it into your suitcase/bags/etc with ease. It also surprisingly kept me very warm with its insulation (to the point where I would be sweating most of the time haha), and worked well even in wind and rain. I also think the coat is very cute, you can wear it casually or dress it up. I appreciated having a hood as well. Darling jacket. Boy did I get it wrong. The khaki seemed lighter in the photos so i wasn't sure I would like it that shade darker. It is fabulous. Will be a perfect light jacket for spring when we go to Europe. It is as classy looking as my Cole Haan rain jacket I have but it's black and I wanted something neutral and lighter. Everything about it is perfect. The fit, pockets, buttons, hood and length. I am 5'2" so it fits me perfectly. I did get the large because everyone says it runs small. I might normally get a medium. Very beautiful trench coat. Should be able to keep warm during trip to Japan, Tokyo on February 2025. For my size it is really difficult to get one moreover, it is from USA. I keep worrying that does this size matches me. I will buy 2 more from AMAZONE. I am so happy it fixed well.
