That high-res screen makes a big difference, way better than my old fuzzy camera. The recording feature's handy, gives some peace of mind in case of fender benders. Love that it overwrites old footage automatically, no need to mess with memory cards. The night vision works well, no more guessing what's behind me in dark parking lots. But it's not all smooth reversing. The installation was a bit of a headache, took longer than expected to get everything wired up right. The screen's a tad on the small side, could be hard to see for folks with not-so-great eyesight. The menu system's a bit confusing, took some fiddling to get the settings just right. And while it claims to be waterproof, I'm still a bit nervous about heavy rain or car washes.
The split-screen feature's cool, but can be disorienting at first. Overall, it's a good upgrade from basic backup cameras. Nice for anyone who wants clearer views and some extra features. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve and maybe set aside a good chunk of time for installation. I really like several things about this system from DVKNM. First off the system could not be easier to set up. You can lay out where you want the cameras and run the extension cables in no time. Hooking up the cables is super simple and they were more than long enough to route to the front, and then all that was left was mounting the screen and they give you two main options with a bracket or with a base that I chose the bracket since it was very sturdy and gave me a good screen angle. The screen even has a shade to cut down on glare. I ended up putting a tiny Velcro tab on the remote so I could easily grab it and put it right back. I really like the functionality of the system since the cameras have infrared lights that make night time shots look very detailed and they're sealed to make them weatherproof.
I can easily see using this system for years. I looked at other systems but this one gives me what I wanted for a good price. What a fantastic product, the clarity of the images are outstanding, you can feel the quality of the product just by the weight of the camara's and there night view, i had a question so contacted support and had a response from Carey within 1 hour all sorted thank you DVKNM for the service something that is sadly lacking with some company's. The instruction were very easy to follow and the unit was easy to install i would highly recommend this product to anyone who demands quality.
