It doesn’t feel like it’s going to slip or fall down and it is comfortable to wear. I still am getting an effective workout while not feeling like my body is being crushed under the bar. It’s perfect for the workouts I’m doing. I’ve used Sboddy hip-thrust band/strap for a few weeks, and I’ve found it to be a fantastic tool to add to my exercise routine. It’s really simple to use, and very durable. Not only am I able to incorporate effective hip-thrusts into my lower body workouts at home, but I also use this strap at the gym, especially when Smith machines are all in use. I frequently use the strap with 20 pound dumbbells, and I do multiple reps and sets. While I don’t need to load more than 40 pounds total, I imagine that this strap could hold 60 pounds, as it holds 40 very securely. However, I probably wouldn’t use the strap for higher weights used in progressive overloading: lower weights with higher yes. It’s comfortable, well made, and a great value for the price.
